Privacy Notice

This notice explains how Artha Business Labs ("we", "us"), the provider of SYNAPSE, handles personal data. Artha Business Labs is the data controller for account, website and support data. For business records your organisation enters into SYNAPSE (for example employee or customer details), your organisation is the controller and we process that data on its behalf.

Data we collect and why

• Account details (name, email, organisation, login credentials) — to create and run your account (contract).
• Workspace content you enter — to provide the service (contract).
• Support messages and demo requests — to respond to you (contract / legitimate interests).
• Usage data, device identifiers and IP address — for security, fraud prevention and product improvement (legitimate interests).
• Marketing preferences — to send product updates where you have agreed (consent, withdrawable any time).

We may also process data where required to comply with legal obligations.

Who we share data with

• Service providers and subprocessors that host, secure and support the service (for example cloud hosting and email delivery).
• Professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants.
• Authorities, where required by law.

We do not sell personal data.

Retention

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations and resolve disputes. When no longer needed, data is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may request access to, correction or erasure of your personal data, withdraw consent, and raise a grievance. If you are in the UK or EEA, you also have rights of restriction, portability and objection, and may complain to your local supervisory authority. We respond to requests within one month.

International transfers

Data may be processed outside your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, strict tenant isolation and role-based access controls.

Cookies

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to remember preferences. We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, but the app may not work without essential ones.
